American firm Waymo has announced that its driverless taxis will be operational for booking on London's thoroughfares beginning next year.

UK Capital Named as Leading European City for Self-Driving Ride-Hailing.

London will emerge as the pioneering European city to host an driverless taxi service, similar to those already operational in San Francisco and several American cities using Waymo's advanced technology.

Initial Operations to Commence with Human Specialists.

Waymo announced that its cars are now traveling to London and will begin operating on the city's streets in the next few weeks with trained human specialists supervising the vehicles.
